Hiya all! Southend had a splendid ilomilo release party last friday where the ilomilo team and the rest of the Southenders celebrated the releases of ilomilo XBLA and ilomilo WP7.

Since ilomilo is much based on hats (There’s an ancient golden rule stating that everything gets remarkably better with hats) it was quite fitting to make the evening hat-themed!

The party started in the kitchen with some sparkling wine and some accordion live music by newcomer Erik Strandh.

After a few words by Fredrik, our producer it was time to gather around the table for some culinary specialties ordered directly from the famous 5 star restaurant “ilo & milos knife and fork”.

As gamers we all know the importance of competition, so of course there were some fun games to play while enjoying the food, including Quiz, Bingo, Poker… and a “best hat competition”.

Quiz, poker and Bingo are all good, but thanks to super power multi hacker programmer Björn Persson it was also presented in quite some style.

Salutations! I have come to bring word of something really fabulastic! ilomilo, the game in which I, the heroic and brave Sebastian saves the day, (with some minor help from two funny looking thumb creatures), is being officially released today!

Some of you have been fortunate enough to lay your hands on the game already, but from now on everybody can enter my world, solve fun and clever puzzles in an ever changing environment and enjoy the presence of the great Sebastian. Isn’t that just wondrous? Oh, but of course it is!

To think of all the things you will see and experience, such as the strange inhabitants, the beautiful and twisting landscapes, the incredious fauna, the great Sebastians mesmerizing stories. Let me tell you, you are in for a treat!

So what are you waiting for? Make your game box thing go get ilomilo so you can fully experience the wonders that awaits you!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry merry Christmas everyone! Let me tell you, we got a white Christmas in Malmö this year. There’s like a ton of snow out there!

Right, we really can’t keep this secret anymore. Like many of you already know we have released ilomilo beforehand and people have been able to use the super secret access code to download the trial version of the game and via the trial been able to unlock the full version of the game!

However, the number of people who have downloaded the game has been really great and as a result we don’t have many codes left! So, if you want to play ilomilo before the 5:th of January you better hurry over to the super secret access code site and grab a code!
